MP-IMC Public Relations Internship

MP-IMC is a boutique beauty and integrated marketing and public relations agency specializing in the beauty, health and wellness categories. Our clients include global beauty brands, independent skincare brands, makeup artists, hair stylists, physicians, salons and more. We recognize the vision of all our clients in order to pitch their brands and messaging to the media. This job is located in NY, NY. Candidates would need reliable transportation to travel to and from the office on scheduled work days. 15 - 20 hours per week. Some days may be remote depending on the week.
Responsibilities Include:
- Bring a fresh eye to the business and keep up with trends
- Help create and distribute press materials
- Organize internal documents
- Search for client press placements daily
- Create and update press lists
- Update press reports on a weekly and monthly basis
- Send and track all samples
- Keeping product shelves clean and organized
- Unpacking and sorting new product shipments
- Monitor social media trends, posts, etc.
- Contribute ideas to projects
