What are the responsibilities and job description for the AUDIO VISUAL TECHNICIAN position at MPB Hotel LLC?
The AV Technician will be responsible for verifying that all AV equipment is in the inventory before events. This will include setting-up, operating and troubleshooting of all equipment, devices, and systems. The technician will also ensure all equipment is fully operational, repair and clean as and when necessary. Additionally, operating and maintaining all hotel in-audio system, assisting and instructing guests/customers regarding proper usage/operation of AV equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree or college diploma in computer science OR one year's equivalent work experience
- Extensive experience in Audio-Visual set-up and operation
- Thorough understanding of Audio-Visual and Lighting equipment and maintenance.
- Experience in hands-on equipment troubleshooting
- Experience in equipment support
- Working technical knowledge of the latest Audio-Visual Equipment.
- Ability to perform tasks and prioritize in high-pressure environments.
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Attention to detail
