Job FunctionUnder the direction of the Logistics Manager and with safety, efficiency and customer service a priority, the Logistics Analyst is accountable to facilitate the shipping, receiving and tracking of equipment, personnel and materials, effectively managing the timely execution of customer orders.
Essential Functions
- Monitor DOT Hours of Service ensuring drivers remain in compliance.
- Provide backup assistance for Routing and Dispatching Functions.
- Aid drivers with daily obstacles and problem solving.
- Update and analyze drivers’ schedules to reflect daily changes and ensure the resources are being schedule in the most efficient way possible.
- Travel Arrangement - Booking hotels and rental vehicles.
- Assist in the training of new Logistics Associates.
- Perform other duties as directed.

- Samsara – HOS, Safety, Reporting
- This position handles emergency responses to customer needs and ensuring all personnel, equipment and supplies are dispatched quickly.
- Solving material, personnel or equipment shortage or surpluses.
- Has the authority to make unsupervised decisions consistent with the scope of responsibilities.
- Night and weekend On-Call rotation.
- Customer Service: Proactively developing customer relationships by making efforts to listen and understand the customer (both internal and external); anticipating and providing solutions to customer needs; giving high priority to customer satisfaction.
- Professionalism: Maintaining a high-quality professional appearance and standardizing to improve performance and reputation.
- Continuous Improvement: Refining and developing new tools and processes through creativity and innovation.

Required ExperienceQUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s Degree or higher in Business or Logistics preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in Logistics field.
- Knowledge of FMCSA Hours of Service Regulations is a plus.
- Professional oral and written interpersonal communication.
- Advanced computer skills.
