We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Marketing and Sales Agent to join our team and help us expand our reach and impact.

Job Summary: The Marketing and Sales Agent will play a crucial role in promoting our services, building relationships with schools and community partners, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in marketing and sales, particularly within the educational or event marketing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Marketing:
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive event bookings.
• Create engaging content for social media, email campaigns, and the company website.
• Coordinate and manage promotional events to drive community engagement.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and create new partnerships.
• Sales:
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with schools, educational institutions, and community partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to the Science Guys to demonstrate sales goals and achievements.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
• Customer Relationship Management:
• Provide excellent customer service and support to clients.
• Handle inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain an up-to-date CRM system with client information and sales activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. If not available, at least 5 years in the field.
• Proven experience in marketing and sales, preferably in the education or events industry.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Creative, innovative, and able to think outside the box.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Google Suite and CRM services.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with schools and educational institutions.
• Passion for science and education.
• Passion for working with children and understanding of their needs.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online sales channels.
• Experience working with small businesses or nonprofits.

Job Specifics:

• Our events are seasonal, so job responsibilities will change with the event season.
• While this job does not require working directly with children, an understanding of and appreciation of children is necessary to create events that successfully serve their demographic.
• Hybrid in-office and remote options available. Must be located in Nashville, TN.
• Starting part-time at 20 hours per week, with growth to up to 35 hours per week available based on performance.
• 2 month trial period, after which we will meet to discuss sales and marketing achievements.
