If you are an experienced Residential Electrician with a license (or you will be taking your exam within the next month) and you are someone who prides themselves on having a friendly and customer-focused approach, tremendous drive, and a strong desire to learn and grow continually, Mr. Electric of Chapel Hill and Cary is the place where you will thrive.
What’s In It For You
  • Competitive base pay starting at $20 per hour.
  • Commission pay with base/hourly pay OR straight commission if preferred (*can earn more this way).
  • Earn from $50,000 - $80,000 depending on experience level.
  • Consistent leads provided (2-3 appointments per day/average set for you).

  • Strong and efficient onboarding and processes.
Skills And/or Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of prior professional-level electrical experience, a must!
  • Limited electrical license - at a minimum – required. (or ready to take the exam in the next month)
  • Completed an apprentice program/training for residential work.
  • High school degree or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Experience doing estimates in a CRM. (Service Titan a plus!)
  • Own your own hand tools.
  • Able to pass a drug test and background check.
  • Must live with in a 45 min drive from the heart of Chapel Hill.
Responsibilities
  • Be prompt and efficient.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues.
  • Provide solutions to customer’s electrical issues and build confidence that their home will be safe.
  • Deliver top-notch quality customer service.
  • Perform quality control testing.
  • Draw up estimates in Service Titan and deliver digitally to homeowner.
  • Keep company vehicle well maintained.
  • Assist customers in evaluating repairs versus replacement options and perform work as needed:
  • Light Fixtures
  • Switches /Receptacles
  • Circuit wiring
  • Breakers
  • Breaker / fuse panels
  • Electrical service metering equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance inspections
  • EV chargers
  • Access areas of the home being serviced, such as, but not limited to crawl spaces and attic areas
  • Prepare and gather materials needed for upcoming jobs.
