We are seeking a talented Barista/Pool Attendant to join our team! This is a dual role, with the following shifts:
Pool Attendant: Monday & Tuesday, 9 AM - 5 PM
Barista: Wednesday & Thursday, 6 AM - 2 PM
Pool Attendant Duties:
• Welcoming guests and ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Setting up umbrellas, loungers, and other pool furniture.
• Ensuring that the swimming pool, furniture, and facilities are clean and safe.
• Providing guests with towels, shade, refreshments, and attending to their requests.
• Clearing used towels, glasses, and trash.
• Enforcing safety protocols.
• Monitoring the activity of guests and ensuring their safety.
• Reporting any damages or incidents to the supervisor.
• Preferred knowledge of the principles and practices of resuscitation, first aid, and CPR techniques.
Barista Duties:
• Taking orders and providing information on menu items and making recommendations.
• Preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages.
• Serving light snacks.
• Operating coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment.
• Processing customer payments, including cash and credit transactions.
• Managing the cash register and handling tips.
• Monitoring stock levels.
• Keeping the barista station and customer area clean and tidy.
• Assisting with opening and closing duties as required.
• Building rapport with regular customers.
• Addressing and resolving customer complaints or issues.
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
