They will be responsible for uploading bills of materials, addressing manufacturing queries, and actively contributing to innovative new product development initiatives.
Job Duties for Mechanical Drafter:
- Generate detailed drawings using CAD software for orders and custom projects, adhering to specifications and standards
- Provide technical support for manufacturing inquiries, resolving issues efficiently
- Collaborate with engineers and team members in new product development efforts, contributing to design ideation and implementation
- Review and revise drawings through the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process, incorporating feedback and updates
- Maintain organized records of drawings, BOMs, and relevant documentation
- Participate in project meetings and discussions, offering insights and updates on progress
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in drafting and design workflows
- Associate degree
- Mechanical Design experience is preferred
- GD&T Experience
- 3-6 years of detailed drafting experience, preferably machined components
- PC skills including Microsoft Suite and CAD software (CREO and AutoCAD)
