What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at MRA Search?
Our client is a high growth, privately held company who looking for a Hands-On Controller . Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is responsible for general accounting and finance functions and the maintenance, accuracy and control of the accounting records. This Controller will be leading financial close activities, including journal entry preparation, account analysis and balance sheet reconciliation.
Responsibilities :
- Communicate financial results to management
- Responsible for leading all forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting as it pertains to Company performance
- Direct the month-end close processes
- Utilize the company's Accounting Software and Excel to create the Company's financial reports that are clear, accurate and actionable
- Accounting research and analysis of financial data needed in planning, budgeting / forecasting, and financial modeling
- Perform monthly operations and financial reporting
- Act as head liaison for the company's CPA firm - both Audit and Tax
