THE HEALTHCARE INITIATIVEWhere Talent Meets OpportunityOutpatient Nurse ManagerMoab Regional Hospital (Retained) Moab, Utah Working in partnership with Moab Regional Hospital, we are seeking an enthusiastic Outpatient Nurse Manager for their Infusion, Oncology, and Wound Care services. In this hands-on managerial role reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will oversee the outpatient nursing staff, manage programmatic aspects like quality control, and lead the continuing mentoring of staff. Additionally, you will play a key role in patient and family education, coordinate orientation for new hires, and maintain financial oversight of the Outpatient Services department. We are looking for an ideal candidate passionate about patient care, excelling in both clinical and administrative responsibilities. Schedule
Monday through Friday
Regular workday schedule (with some flexibility for extended hours).
Regular part of Administration on-call schedule, 3-6 days/month, 1 weekend and 1-2 holiday.
Infusion Clinic Details
The Oncology nurse manager will oversee 4.5 FTE’s (infusion nurses and 3 Coordinators)
3 infusion chairs and 2 wound care chairs
225 cases per Month
Infusion Center handles: IV Hydration therapy, Oncology treatments, IV Antibiotics, Specialty Infusion, Wound care, and therapeutic Phlebotomy.
Qualifications
BSN, required.
Current UTAH state RN License, required.
2 years of clinical oncology nursing experience in an acute care hospital, required.
Wound Care Nurse Certification, required or ability to obtain at time of hire, required.
Infusion Certification, required or ability to obtain at time of hire, required.
Understand state and federal regulations and requirements related to outpatient infusion and nursing treatments.
Understanding of prior authorization, coding, and billing procedures for the department
