- The company is in need of an experienced QC chemist to perform compendial testing of raw materials to support GMP manufacturing
- This person uses a variety of instrumentation to test materials per applicable FDA and EU regulations
- This individual ensures proper records are kept and maintained
- This person will test materials to ensure products meet applicable USP and EP standards
- This person will be responsible or receiving and monitoring inventory levels of lab supplies and reagents
- This person may be assigned to participate in GMP audits performed by internal and or external personnel
- The position is NOT remote
- Two years of analytical lab experience in a highly regulated environment (preferably GMP) is required
- A four-year degree is required and a science degree is highly desired -- chemistry, biochemistry and biomedical engineering are most preferred
- Familiarity with USP and cGMP is highly desired
- This firm greatly values intellectual curiosity and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
