Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise and engage children in play, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being
- Assist with feeding, diapering, and other basic care needs
- Monitor and address any behavioral issues or conflicts that may arise
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare space
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting
- Knowledge of childhood development and age-appropriate activities
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and/or school-aged children
- Ability to provide educational support and assistance to children, including those with special needs or learning challenges
Skills:
- First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to adapt to different personalities and individual needs of each child
- Organizational skills to plan activities and manage daily routines
We offer competitive pay based on experience. This is a part-time position with flexible hours.
