$15.00 / hour

Shift: 3rd, 10PM – 6AM, Monday – Friday

**Must be flexible to work OVERTIME as needed**

We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Associates to join our team at a leading manufacturer of high-quality door locking mechanisms for the automotive industry. Your role is critical in ensuring the reliability and functionality of our products, contributing to the safety and performance of automotive doors.

Job Duties:

• Assembles automotive door locking/latching components
• Performs automotive assembly on an assembly line
• Uses hand and power tools to assemble, fit, & adjust door locking mechanisms
• Inspects parts and identifies any defects
• Conducts basic troubleshooting & makes adjustments accordingly
• Reports equipment malfunctions to leads & supervisors
• Works with team to meet production goals
• Follows safety protocols and keeps a clean & organized work area
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & requirements:

• Product assembly experience preferred but not required
• Knowledge of automotive door locking mechanisms a plus
• Strong attention to detail & manual dexterity
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform basic troubleshooting
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• General knowledge of hand tools
• Can read and interpret blueprints
• Can work in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to safety and quality standards

Physical requirements:

• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day

Work environment:

• Temperature controlled environment

Dress code:

• T-shirt, blue jeans or work pants, closed toed shoes, safety glasses
