Your team responsibilities

We're seeking a dynamic Product Marketing Manager to drive growth and brand recognition for our Private Assets at MSCI. Collaborating closely with Sales, Research, and Product teams, you'll develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to client needs and market trends. Your role involves overseeing campaign execution, and creating compelling value propositions to drive product adoption and revenue growth.

As a key player in our marketing efforts, you'll develop sales enablement materials, maintain consistent messaging across channels, and analyze campaign effectiveness to inform future strategies. Your key responsibilities
  • Product strategy and positioning: Develop a deep understanding of MSCI Private Assets' products and services. Assist with the implementation of a cohesive marketing vision and strategy.
  • Product communication and marketing: Collaborate across functions to translate our robust product roadmap into solution-oriented strategies. Analyze client needs, monitor market trends, and assess competitive activity. Develop segmented client strategies, create value propositions, and ensure consistent positioning and messaging across all client touchpoints.
  • Campaign delivery: Partner with the global marketing team (PR, brand, content, digital, events) to execute high-quality campaigns and marketing activities aimed at driving client sales and retention.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with product, sales, and research teams to devise and implement go-to-market strategies that enhance product awareness, adoption, and revenue growth, aligning with client needs and internal business objectives.
  • Sales enablement: Develop marketing and sales enablement materials such as pitchbooks, factsheets, whitepapers, and case studies to bolster the brand and drive customer acquisition. Create sales materials like emails, LinkedIn outreach messages, battle cards, and one-pagers. You'll also be responsible for briefing sales teams on product features and enhancements.
  • Brand Ambassador: Maintain a consistent voice in messaging across the Private Assets and broader MSCI brand. Craft messaging that simplifies complexity, avoids jargon, and resonates with target audiences.
  • KPIs and MI: Design, execute, and optimize campaigns across owned, paid, and earned media channels. Report key metrics to leadership to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Being a team player: Shape the team culture and act as a connector, proactively contributing to the development of people across MSCI's product marketing.
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills and the ability to evaluate business challenges and develop solutions.
  • Adaptable and able to work in a changing, matrix work environment.
  • Experience in B2B institutional marketing and familiarity with financial advisory services.
  • Understanding of the investment ecosystem/value chain.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex initiatives effectively.
  • Ability to give concise, compelling presentations to senior decision-makers.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle significant workloads and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Operational ability to engage and build relationships with executive-level clients.
  • Previous experience in marketing and sales roles, ideally in renowned organizations.
  • Familiarity with agency management and digital marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
