Service Byte is an MSP in Ossining, NY providing IT support and management for small to medium-sized businesses in Westchester County.
We are looking for a Level 2 IT Technician to join our team. This role is an escalation point within our Support Desk team, working closely with our Level 1 IT Technicians in supporting our clients.
You must excel at troubleshooting technical problems efficiently while also maintaining clear and effective communication with clients and team members. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who thrives on new challenges and values personal growth.
This is a hybrid position, with some days working from home and at least two days a week in the office in Ossining. Additionally, there will be some local travel to client sites in Westchester County.
Responsibilities:

• Monitor service tickets and respond promptly and appropriately.
• Offer remote and on-site support to clients, as needed.
• Provide server and network maintenance and support to clients.
• Identify, research, and resolve technical problems reported by clients.
• Communicate with customers as necessary to gather information and provide updates.
• Document all communication and steps taken in the service ticket for future reference.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT support; MSP experience is required
• Knowledgeable in workstation & server troubleshooting
• Proficiency with O365 and the Azure Environment
• Solid networking and virtualization experience (e.g. DHCP, DNS, VLAN)
• Knowledgeable with virtualization & networking
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for all things tech-related and a love of learning

HR Information: $70,000 salary annual bonuses (end of year, varies)
Hybrid work setup:
