THE POSITION:
We have an exciting new opportunity at our Boston Animal Care and Adoption Center for a Communication Center Supervisor. The vision of the MSPCA Animal Protection Division is to proactively address the underlying issues that put animals at risk. We value our connections to communities and organizations, and serve as a resource to protect the largest number of animals possible. The Communication Center Supervisor works in collaboration with the client service team to provide and assist the Boston Adoption Center and Community Clinic with excellent client service.
The Communication Center Supervisor is responsible for the daily operational and staff leadership needs of the Boston Adoption Center and Clinic Communication Center. The Communication Center supports scheduling, communication, and administrative needs for the adoption center and community clinic and works collaboratively to facilitate ongoing communication between the adoption center and clinic staff teams and clients to ensure the highest quality of care. The Communication Center Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the Communication Center staff communications are conveyed in a respectful, friendly, accurate, and thorough manner, workload demands are met efficiently, and that adoption center and clinic protocols are accurately followed. They are also responsible for hiring, onboarding, training, monitoring and ongoing coaching of all Communication Center staff.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for applicants with at least two years of customer service experience, one year of supervisory experience, and one year of animal welfare experience.
