SummaryMoving vehicles to and from assigned locations, washing, cleaning and sanitizing vehicles as required. Keep assigned vehicle parking areas, service shop and parts department organized and clean, assist in handling parts inventory
What Your Day-to- Day Responsibilities Include:
- Perform lane stacking for all service lanes
- Assist HMA customers in service lanes
- Assist HMA customers with loaner vehicles, pickups/drop offs
- Perform vehicle sanitizing, vehicle washes, vacuums and details including floor mats, fuel and fluid checks
- Manage supplies for floor mats, customer comment cards, office supplies, etc.
- Notify the Service Manager for any NHQ facility repairs and maintenance (parking structure, parking lot, electric vehicle (EV) charging stations)
- Conduct parking lot and structure inventories
- Assist with end of day paperwork, customer calls, and miscellaneous tasks as required by the Service Manager
- Assist with parts shipping and receiving
- Sort and arrange part in bins
- Assist with keeping parts inventory current
- Normal office duties
- Must be willing to help out with shop cleaning and general shop duties when necessary
- Work may require occasional overtime, weekend, and/or evening work
- Must be willing to travel up to 25% (often with short notice)
- Must be able to lift up to 45lbs
- Vehicle operating knowledge and/or work experience
- Customer-first approach with excellent skills in communications, interactions, patience, helpful and supportive
- Must be able to work with parts department DMS
- Must be able to speak, read and understand English
- Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- DMS experience a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills a plus
- Strong analytical/problem solving ability a plus
- Individual must be well organized yet flexible enough to accomplish objectives that are often subject to change
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and direction
- Ability to drive truck, trailer, and forklift is a Plus
- Must be a Self-Starter
- Must be able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks on multiple projects at same time
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- High School Diploma Required
- Additional Specific Technical Training a Plus
- Experience at an automotive dealership or repair facility as a service lot attendant
- Shipping/receiving and some dealership parts department experience preferred
- Hyundai & Genesis product knowledge and experience is a plus
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate may not have been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At MSXi, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 19.00 to $22.00 hourly based on current experience.
