Title: Python Automation Engineer (System side)

Location: San Jose, CA-Onsite

Duration: 6 months

Job description:

• Overall experience of 4 to 6 years in a Test/DevOps role.
• Work closely with a team of 6 to 8 engineers spread across multiple Geo locations.

Required Experience and Skills

MUST

• Familiarity with Microservices, CI/CD: 3-5 years of experience in testing microservices in an AWS/Azure environment
• Familiarity with Jenkins Pipeline, CI/CD
• Automation: Hands on Automation experience in GoLang/Python of APIs, Library Automation
• Python scripting
• Familiarity with Agile process and work in a scrum team

DESIRABLE

• Supporting production environments. Ability to troubleshoot issues for initial triage and escalation.
• Familiarity with VMware and Storage
• Familiarity with networking, configure servers, OS installation.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience in writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in overall architecture and software design for products and solutions.
• Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals.
• Experience with design and integration of software running on multiple platform types.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
