First 10 Community School Outreach Coordinator

July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025

This is a one-year position with the potential for continuation based on funding.

Job Goal(s):The coordinator is responsible for grant management and coordination of resources.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of the First 10 Community School Grant pilot.
  • Able to coordinate grant resources.
  • Knowledge of internal and external resources, programs, and outreach opportunities for students and families.
  • Early childhood educational background or working knowledge of early childhood programming.

Certifications

  • Maine DOE Certification - CHRC
Performance Responsibilities
  • The best candidate will be able to coordinate school and community resources & develop strong local partnerships.

Education

  • Bachelors from an accredited college or university

Experience

  • Grant oversight preferred
  • Experience working with multiple community partners
Working Schedule
  • Up to 30 hours per week. The schedule will be flexible based on need.
Travel Requirements
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Travel will primarily be in the in the service area of New Sharon, Farmington, Chesterville and Vienna but additional travel may be required.

Reports To:Building Principal

Terms of Employment:July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025. This is a one-year position with the potential for continuation based on funding.

Evaluation: Completed annually by PRINCIPAL

FLSA Status:Non-exempt
