Job Description:

As a Service Department Cashier/Receptionist at Mt. Kisco Honda, you will be responsible for both managing the front desk and facilitating customer transactions. Your role is critical in ensuring a smooth and efficient service process and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk Reception:

Customer Greeting: Welcome and assist customers as they enter the service department, providing a friendly and professional first impression.

Appointment Scheduling: Schedule service appointments and coordinate with the service department to ensure timely completion of work.

Customer Check-In: Document customer vehicle details and service requests accurately.

Cashier Duties:

Customer Checkout: Assist customers with the checkout process after their service or repair is complete. Accurately calculate and collect payments for services rendered.

Invoicing: Generate invoices for service and repair work, ensuring all details are accurate, and all charges are properly documented.

Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions securely and accurately, providing change and receipts as needed.

Credit Card Transactions: Process credit and debit card payments and ensure all transactions are completed in accordance with security and privacy standards.

Documentation: Maintain organized records of all transactions, ensuring they align with the services performed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a cashier or receptionist role is advantageous.
• Strong numerical and cash handling skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
• Basic computer skills for invoicing and payment processing.
