Job Overview:
Mount Lebanon School is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to build relationships with students, staff, administration, and families. The ideal candidate will have the capability to work as a collaborative member of a professional learning community and multi-disciplinary team. This part-time position will generally offer 20 hours per week.
Job Goals:
- Process Employee Reimbursements for Staff & send to Accounts Payable.
- Gather Requisitions/emails/shopping carts from teachers.
- Ensure account numbers are accurately applied.
- Obtain quotes from vendors.
- Request W-9s from the SAU for first-time vendors.
- Create/enter PO in Accounting Software.
- Place orders via phone, email, or fax.
- Follow up with vendors weekly to check the status of all orders.
- Check-in and receive orders in the system when items are delivered.
Pay:
- Based on LSDAAA Collective Bargaining Agreement salary schedule.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 15 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
