Mt. Lebanon School is Hiring a School Psychologists Near Lebanon, NH

Job Overview:
Mount Lebanon School is seeking a full-time School Psychologist with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to build relationships with students, staff, administration and families, and the capability to work as collaborative members of a professional learning community and multi-disciplinary team. Must hold a NH DOE Certification or License as a School Psychologist (0046). This position will serve PK through grade 4.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Experience with conducting formal comprehensive assessments for special education eligibility, providing direct services to students including counseling and social skills, and consulting with school staff and outside providers.
- Demonstrated understanding of child development and of trauma informed practices.
- Experience with conducting and implementing evidence-based behavioral interventions and assessments including positive behavior intervention systems, individual, and program wide behavior systems and plans, and functional behavioral assessments.
- Experience with executive functioning, social skills, behavioral, and self-regulation programs.
- Strong ability to design, implement, and support behavioral systems and data collection.
- Highly effective oral and written communication skills that promote and encourage collaboration with colleagues, parents, and administrators.
- Highly effective executive function skills including being well organized, strong time management skills, and able to work independently to meet deadlines.
- Experience with and commitment to inclusion that benefits students socially, emotionally, and academically.
- Experience with varied profiles and disabilities including but not limited to mild/moderate academic learning disabilities, emotional disturbance, attention deficit, autism spectrum disorder, social cognition, and other atypical learner profiles.
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills, as well as demonstrated experience and training with de-escalation strategies.
- Ability to learn School Medicaid system as the Team Leader for Medicaid documentation.
- Actively engage in professional development activities to improve required skills.
- Other responsibilities as determined by supervisor.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 15 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay:
Based on LEA Collective Bargaining Agreement, readily available on the District's website.
