Central Community Center Incorporated in 1955 and encompassing more than 454 acres, the Mt. Prospect Park District provides outstanding recreational programs, events, parks, facilities and services. With seven primary facilities and 27 neighborhood parks, the Park District is an integral part of a thriving multi-generational community. District open space includes two outdoor pools, biking and walking paths, a dog park and sizable space for outdoor athletic programming. The District covers over 11 square miles and serves a region of over a quarter million residents in Mount Prospect and surrounding communities.
Due to a recent promotion, the Mt. Prospect Park District is looking for a part-time/IMRF Human Resource Assistant to provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department. This position is pension-eligible with the IMRF (Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund). The PT-IMRF H.R. Assistant can expect to work an average of 25 hours per week (not to exceed 1,500 hours per year), primarily Monday through Friday, from approximately 9am until 2:30pm.
The pay range for the PT-IMRF H.R. Assistant is $20-$23 per hour, depending on qualifications. Plus, we offer some benefits including IMRF/pension benefits, paid time off, park district facility discounts and usage benefits, 457 deferred compensation plan, and vision discount program (VSP).
