Successful Work Options of MTILP, Inc. is looking for caring and responsible adults to support and assist adults with developmental disabilities during the weekdays with their jobs and community activities in Madison and surrounding area.

Be Extraordinary! Job Coaches work 30 - 32.5 hours /week (NO EVENINGS OR WEEKENDS!) with different people during the work day. Job Coaches generally work independently, providing job supports and community based activities for the people they support. Some individuals may require assistance with personal cares.
On the job training is provided.

Position Requirements:
- Must a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid Wisconsin Driver License, a dependable car and auto insurance
- A compassionate heart and desire to see others succeed!

Knowledge and Abilities:
- General knowledge of human services is a plus
- Self motivation and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with clients, co-workers, employers and team members
- Ability to assess the needs and strengths of an adult with special needs
- Knowledge of supported employment and community resources
- Ability to work independently at job sites and community settings
- Physical ability to sit, stand, bend, squat, walk, reach and occasionally lift (up to 50 lbs.) during the course of the work day
- Provide some assistance with personal cares as needed
Experience working with adults with special needs is preferred but not required

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32.5 – 38 per week
