Our client is an established 15 person CPA firm based in Newport Beach are they are looking for a Senior Tax Associate to join their team due to growth.

Job Duties:

· Prepare tax returns and provide tax advice for Real Estate Partnerships, S-corporations, C-corporations, and Individuals.

· Review financial records such as prior tax return forms, income statements, and documentation of expenditures to determine forms necessary to prepare each return. Contacts and/or follows up with clients to send in documentation needed to substantiate the returns. Reviews QuickBooks files for business tax returns and makes journal entries as needed.

· Meet with clients via video or phone

· Strong willingness and eagerness to learn new technical subject areas and changing tax law

· Work directly with Partners and Managers to service clients. Collaborates with Partners and other staff for tax planning and advisory needs for clients, or in some cases may work directly with the client to provide advisory services.

Qualifications:

· BA, Accounting

· 3 years of public accounting experience

· Must have real estate tax experience

· CPA is a plus or close to attaining

· Excellent communication skills and customer service focused.
