LIVE-IN Companion (FT)
Job Details :
Days : 5 days per week, Monday - Friday
Hours : 9 : 00a - 5 : 00p
Pay Rate : $50K - $100K based on experience
Additional Benefits : Medical, dental, and PTO.
A Chatham, NJ based family is looking for a full-time, LIVE-IN companion for their adult (27 years old) son with ambulatory special needs.
It is not a requirement for applying candidates to have prior medical training but all applying candidates MUST BE willing to learn and assist.
Candidates must be youthful, energetic, reliable, and be able to provide a high level of assistance. Seeking candidates who are dedicated and professional, who can provide companionship, as well as assist with meals, medication management, etc.
LIVE-IN accommodations include a private bedroom with full in suite bathroom. Salary is TBD and is based on experience.
Duties will include but are not limited to :
- Provide companionship to a very outgoing and social adult male
- Accompany on walks to the park and / or car rides
- Go out for meals
- Manage medications
- Assist with grooming and personal hygiene
- Light meal preparations
- Run outside errands, as needed
Requirements :
- Minimum 3 solid years of related experience
- Excellent references from both current and previous employers
- Ability to work independently
- Must speak and be able to communicate well in English
- Authorized to work in the United States for any employer
- Valid Driver's license and clean driving record
