Develop and build a team of dedicated sales staff and shift leaders who deliver great, friendly customer service and profitable top line sales.
Top line sales is an increase in gross sales or revenues.
WORKING AS PART OF A TEAM
- assist in recruitment, hiring, on-boarding and development of employees
- communicate job expectations
- work well with others & interact respectfully
- hold team members accountable for behavior & performance, addressing concerns promptly
- motivate, encourage and challenge store employees
- approach situations with an innovative mind & look beyond the obvious to deliver solutions
- implement and enforce established daily operation procedures to ensure store is clean, adequately stocked, organized and well kept
OPRATIONAL EXCELLENCE
- create and maintain customer focused culture
- plan & prepare work schedules to provide best possible level of customer service
- maximize sales and profitability and control expenses
- maintain stock levels & inventory to ensure flawless execution of programs
- ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- maintain safe, secure & healthy environment by following & enforcing safety, food safety & sanitation guidelines; comply with all applicable laws
- monitor cash over / short, inventory shrinkage daily
- complete daily paperwork & computer entry in a timely manner
- have the physical ability to perform all duties of a store cashier regularly
