**Job Summary:**
Mujeres Valley LLC is assisting a professional touring standup comedian and actor with over 20 years of industry experience who is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Marketing Intern to join their team. This internship offers hands-on experience in social media marketing, content creation, and digital communication strategies.
You will work closely with the comedian to grow their follower accounts on several social media platforms. This is a non-paid position with the opportunity for paid bi-weekly bonuses if social media benchmarks are met.
As the Social Media Marketing Intern, you will be rewarded with mentorship opportunities with the comedian, networking, school credit, letters of recommendation and support for future school applications. This internship offers valuable experience in the field of social media marketing, film & comedy, exposure to various digital tools, and the opportunity to contribute creatively to our online presence.
**Duties:**
- Collaborate with the comedian to develop social media strategies and campaigns
- Assist in creating engaging social media content across various platforms including video editing using programs like Premiere, Final Cut, or similar softwares.
- Graphic designs for a variety of social media platforms
- Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities
- Meetings with the comedian in person or via video conferencing
- Support in the planning and execution of social media events and promotions
- Utilize analytics tools to track social media performance
- In-person availability (if applicable to your location)
**Requirements/Qualifications:**
- Proficiency in social media platforms and tools such as Facebook (Meta Business Suite), Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Google Workspace, etc.
- Proficiency and/or the ability to learn how to utilize Premiere, Final Cut, Opus, Descript, etc. within 15 days of the start of your internship
- The ability to understand and implement social media strategies
- Basic knowledge of video editing and photography
- The ability to meet deadlines and communicate new/improved social media strategies as they develop
- Familiarity with advertising principles and social media management
- Ability to conduct market research to enhance social media strategies
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
