Accounting Clerk

What you should know: Mulberry is partnering with a banking company on this opportunity! The accounting team is looking for temporary support as they look to fill another role on their team. You will report to the Assistant Controller. There is great tenure on the accounting team; they are a very tight-knit, collaborative department!

A day in the life:

• Reconcile general ledger and internal checking accounts to supporting systems and records
• Prepare required journal entries
• Post transactions to general ledger
• Filing and scanning duties as assigned
• Assist in accounts payable processing, including reviewing invoices for approval to pay, auditing invoices, general ledger coding, and issuing checks
• Compile reports for use internally and by government agencies
• Maintain adequate audit trail for all transactions posted to general ledger and subsystems

Your areas of knowledge and expertise:

• 1 year of general accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Strong prioritization skills, detail oriented, adaptable, and excellent communication
• Intermediate excel skills required

Compensation and Benefits::

$20-$25 per hour.
