HR Manager

What you should know: Mulberry is partnering with an established local construction company with locations throughout the Northwest. They are a leader in their industry with an impressive portfolio of work. They are ready and motivated to hire an experienced HR Manager reporting directly to the owner who brings tactical HR expertise and delivers with a nurturing and professional disposition to their nearly 150 employees.

A day in the life:

  • Provide full cycle of Human Resources serving as a business partner to the leadership team, site managers and employees
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all employees for HR related support including employee relations including investigations, recruiting, performance and compensation management, benefits and leaves, payroll and other HR matters
  • Develop and maintain employee engagement, wellness and training programs
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations including safety
  • Travel to locations in OR and WA on a monthly basis

Your areas of knowledge and expertise:

  • 7 years of HR leadership and management experience ideally in the construction industry
  • BA/BS in HR or relevant experience along with HR certification
  • Experience with HR compliance and regulations in Oregon and Washington
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and possess decision making skills for the best interest of the company and employee wellbeing.

Compensation and Benefits: $85-100K in annual compensation. Benefits include medical and dental plans, PTO, holiday pay and 401k with a company match!
