HR Generalist

What you should know: Mulberry has exclusively engaged with one of our local areas best known brands, Union Wine Company, who is seeking an HR Generalist to join their team. Based in Tualatin, Oregon, it is a privately owned, Certified B corporation known for its positive and successful culture, emphasizing integrity, honesty, and a laid-back approach.

This is a great opportunity reporting directly senior leadership while working independently leading the company’s HR and P&C functions. Leading with employee engagement and encouraging a culture of productivity, safety, working hard and not taking things too seriously are keys to success at Union Wine Company. A day in the life:

• Develop rapport with managers for coaching on performance management, hiring, disciplinary actions, and termination processes. Manage onboarding and personnel files.
• Administer employee benefits, compensation, and payroll. Ensure programs comply with company policies.
• Oversee full-cycle recruiting. Ensure compliance with laws and propose corrective actions.
• Assess, analyze, and improve policies and procedures. Conduct research to enhance HR operations.
• Advise supervisors on resolving employee issues.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
• At least 3 years of related experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Solid understanding of various employment laws
• Thorough knowledge of HR programs, including compensation, wage and hour requirements, payroll and timekeeping, benefits, safety, and records management.
• HR certification and bilingual in English & Spanish are both a plus.

Compensation and Benefits: $60,000$-$70,000 annually.
