Installation Technician (MKL – Mulhaupts Key and Lock)
Mulhaupts, one of the most trusted names in Commercial and Residential doors and door hardware, automation, and security is seeking a Commercial Entry Door Installer/Technician to service and install Commercial Entry Doors including hollow metal doors, wood doors and door hardware. This is a Full-Time, benefits eligible position with on-the-job training and advancement opportunities.
Qualified candidates possess a mechanical aptitude, experience in building and construction including carpentry and reading job sheets and orders and be able to complete jobs with limited supervision. Work hours are from 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. Hours will vary depending on workload and can require overtime during peak times.
Responsibilities Include

• Professionally install and service commercial and residential entry doors. This includes, but is not limited to, installing hollow metal frames, hollow metal doors, wood doors, and door hardware for commercial and residential applications.
• Inspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals in order to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.
• Project a positive Customer Service image through competent service procedures, professional personal presentation and communication with all customers.
• Use excellent communication and active listening skills to understand, diagnose and implement solutions to customers.

Requirements

• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must be able to travel independently in company vehicle to job sites.
• Frequent to constant standing, lifting, handling, stooping, walking, carrying, kneeling, bending, climbing and working overhead.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 100 pounds.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and security background check.
