Job Summary: The Account Manager supports clients in compliance with standards, policies, procedures and process. Under the direction of the Account Manager Supervisor, the Account Manager is responsible for providing insurance related tasks in servicing accounts, including providing coverage consultation and advice to clients. The success of this role is measured by the ability to meet deadlines, produce a quality work product in a fast-paced environment, and provide positive team participation and support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provides timely, professional, accurate, communication to client, team, carrier representatives and underwriters, as directed by the Account Executive. Enjoy a fast-paced work environment. Maintains current knowledge of lines of coverage and products to verify insurance specifications in contract documents related to certificate requests. Maintains required electronic files accurately and consistently Will work in a high communication role with Team members and drive activities based on reports and initiatives of the week. Prepare summaries of insurance, schedules and proposals as requested by Account Executive. Update policy information as directed by the Account Executive based on policy checking reports. Process endorsements, updating premiums for Direct Bill and invoicing Agency billed endorsements (refer to Epic Workflow procedures). Answer client calls and emails concerning service issues and product queries from clients quickly, efficiently and accurately. Ability and willingness to acquire additional education and certificates as required for position. Consult with Account Executive to establish renewal marketing updates to send to client 120 days prior to expiration date. Ability to contribute to a collaborative environment by consistently demonstrating teamwork, high motivation, positive behavior and effort to achieve goals and objectives Self-motivated and driven Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to work with and meet deadlines Competent and proficient understanding of the Microsoft Office suite. Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy. Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication with executives, management, sales and operations staff. Ability to actively listen, work independently, problem solve with minimal assistance and use discretion surrounding sensitive information. Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Texas Property and Casualty license. 3-5 years experience in large commercial servicing (preferred construction related account experience). Maintain license continuing education requirements. Construction Risk Insurance Specialists – CRIS, would be a plus, but not required. High School diploma or equivalent.
