Position SummaryThe Referral Coordinator Sr oversees the management of referral coordination across clinics and departments. This is an ideal opportunity responsible for administrative requirements for patient referrals, participating providers and patient health plans. As a senior level office resource, your ability to interpret medical guidelines, benefits, policies and procedures, will ensure the efficient operations of patient health care services. Responsibilities
You will expedite administrative and insurance requirements and logistics
You will serve as a resource on referrals and insurance plan guidelines
You will apply discretion, good judgment, and professional communication to all work experiences
You will regularly utilize independent decision-making capacities and strong interpersonal skills
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and two (2) or more years of experience in social sciences, mental health or related field required; a Master’s degree is preferred
Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) credential with Washington State
DOH required within sixty (60) days of hire into position, OR a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) credentialed with Washington State may be substituted for the AAC
Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Care Coordinator for MHS
Current Washington State Driver’s License; and proof of a safe driving record

Pay and Benefit ExpectationsWe provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $21.25 - $30.59 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
