Field Service Biomedical Equipment Technician I

Job Summary

The Field Service Biomedical Equipment Technician I is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing biomedical equipment at customer sites. This position requires excellent customer service skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of biomedical equipment at customer sites
• Document all service activities and maintain accurate records
• Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues
• Provide technical support to customers and other team members
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours service calls
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of biomedical equipment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
• Must have valid driver's license
