Job SummaryThe Field Service Biomedical Equipment Technician II is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of biomedical equipment in healthcare facilities. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair biomedical equipment in healthcare facilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues
- Order and replace parts as needed
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
- Provide excellent customer service to clients
- Train and mentor junior technicians
- Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of biomedical equipment
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of biomedical equipment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Must have valid driver's license.
- Must pass background and drug screen.
