Cost Analyst
Salary Range: Up to $120K
Target Bonus: 10%
Location: Chicago, IL area (just south of O’Hare Airport)
Job Description---Cost Analyst
· BA/BS degree
· Manufacturing accounting experience is preferred
· Oversee financial functions, such as assessing, auditing, planning, budgeting, taxes, consolidation, cost control and project control
· Evaluate and analyze capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit plans, operating records, historical and current financial data, etc.
· Accounting and treasury operations, such as general ledger reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and investment management
· Assist with the preparation of financial plans and budgets by analyzing, interpreting and communicating cost and expense variances to management
· Writing data-backed reports to support the management strategic business decisions
· Develop financial models that forecast business outcomes and profits
· Measure financial risk associated with investment decisions
