Safety Specialist
Salary Range: Up to $85K
Location

Job Description
· Experience in a manufacturing environment
· Clear understanding of OSHA regulations and Health and Safety programs
· Serve as a lead contact and assist the site with the development and the implementation of health and safety regulatory programs
· Perform Health and Safety assignment using 5S and safety concepts
· Lead Health and Safety improvement teams and conduct job safety analysis
· Ensure all incidents and near miss reports are investigated properly
· Represent the site with regulatory agencies
· Conduct audits of the Health and Safety programs
· Implement and maintain/continue to improve Health and Safety procedures and processes
