The Business Analyst will focus on application management, RFQ monitoring, balanced scorecard alignment, and Salesforce. The position will be responsible for data collection, monitoring, analysis, and presentation to senior management. The Business Analyst will comprehend the data to identify trends, anomalies, and requirements to reach metrics.
Hybrid from Novi, MI
- Understand tools such as PowerBi, Salesforce, SharePoint, etc.
- Understand Murata mobility applications as they relate to business nit promotion strategies and overall market trends.
- Translate data into understandable format using tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
- Monitor industry news and integrate relevant information into regular reports.
- Set up and maintain scheduled reviews with appropriate teams, set action items and goals with teams, progress follow-up, and review results with team members and senior management.
- Align team action items with balanced scorecard and mobility targets, including KPIs.
- Support sales activity for specific applications as well as collaborating with Business Development.
- Ability to analyze problems where established procedures may not exist.
- Perform other job-related responsibilities and duties as may be assigned from time to time.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Marketing.
- One year's job-related experience.
- Experience managing and analyzing substantial amounts of sales and price data.
- Proficiency in showing responsibility and capability for continuous improvement of the job.
- Proficiency in interpersonal skills including effective collaboration and communication skills.
- Well-developed facilitation skills to work among individuals from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds.
- Well-developed presentation skills.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience maintaining high levels of confidentiality with regard to company strategy and customers' information.
- Must be adaptable and be able to consistently deal with ever-changing conditions.
- Bi-lingual Japanese verbal and written communication skills.
- Detailed knowledge of all Murata's technical and business operations.
- Financial, communication, and project management skills.
