We Are Looking For Someone Like You
This candidate will be responsible for creating a 3D plumbing fabrication model from design drawings, detailing a system that can be fabricated and installed in compliance with all applicable codes, industry standards and installation requirements. This candidate is also responsible for Trimble and supporting the field for success in using robotic total stations.
The ideal candidate will have experience with:
- 2 Years Experience with BIM
- 1 Year Field Experience with Plumbing Installation
- High Understanding of the Current Plumbing Codes (2009 and 2016)
- Willingness to understand the intricacies of the St. Louis Plumbing Code
- REVIT
- Revizto
- AutoCAD
- Navisworks: Manage and Review
- BIM Collaboration (C4R, BIM 360)
- Autodesk Fabrication CADmep, is a plus
- Project Coordination Meetings
- Detailed plumbing models, layouts, drawings
- Generating Bill of Materials (BOM) reports
- Creating isometric spool drawings
- Providing Construction support
- Communication and organizational skills
- Understanding of Architectural, Structural, MEP, and Fire Sprinkler drawings
- High sense of collaboration while working with members of the design team, estimators, owners and subcontractors, among others
- Understanding of coordination of all trades for clearances and avoidance of collisions (clash detection)
