Our client in West Houston is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team! This hands-on position will assist with managing day-to-day activities in the accounts payable department.
Salary: $19.00-20.00/hr
Location: West Houston
Temp-To-Hire
Responsibilities:
- Utilize in-depth understanding of accounts payable to assist with day-to-day activities including invoice processing, payment processing, month-end close, processing 1099s and Supplier Master Data Maintenance.
- Process 1000 invoices monthly.
- Support projects and implementation of key initiatives including software implementation/updates and process improvements.
- Assist with the establishment and/or maintenance of internal policies and procedures to ensure quality, timeliness, and accuracy of the department.
- Support external audit requests related to AP
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the suppliers and internal customers.
Requirements:
- 2 years of full cycle AP processing experience.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Knowledge in MS Excel and ERP systems.
