An international producer & supplier of pipe systems is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team! This person will work under leadership and should have a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment!
Salary Additional Benefits: $70,000-$75,000

Location: Houston, TX 77073 – IN OFFICE
Type of Position: Direct hire
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Process accounts payable invoices, issue payments, and reconcile vendor statements. Generate and send customer invoices and follow up on overdue accounts receivable.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Support the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering and analyzing financial data, preparing budget schedules, and providing input on financial projections.
- Monitor and analyze expenses, identify variances, and recommend cost-saving measures where applicable.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Stay up to date on changes in accounting standards and regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the finance department.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or Finance
- 1-3 years of accounting experience within an industrial industry (manufacturing preferred)
- Working experience within SAP or similar ERP
- Solid technology skills, including strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail
