Job Summary:
The Receptionist handles greeting and directing residents, visitors, vendors, and guests, and performs general office management tasks.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Education and Experience:
High School degree or equivalent required. Must be able to read written direction, comprehend verbal instructions, and write at a level necessary to accomplish this job. Type at least 60 wpm and have experience using computers, telephones, printers, copiers, and fax machines.
Certifications, Licenses, and other Special Requirements:
Must have a current Tuberculosis skin test or chest x-ray. Must pass criminal background check. Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
Essential Skills:
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Exemplary excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must also be experienced in a position requiring frequent interaction with the public and present a professional image at all times. The candidate must be able to assist and interact with seniors in a caring, kind, and respectful manner .
