The ideal candidate will be a patient-centered, compassionate team-player who is invested in improving and directing our family medicine clerkship curriculum to support the growth of medical students into accomplished healers.

Job Description
The department plays a major role in all four years of the medical school curriculum. Our department has a significant presence in the Dean's Office, including the role of dean, associate deans, and curriculum directors. We also play a major role in facilitating different outreach activities to different underserved and vulnerable groups, including people who are unfunded, rural, and/or currently unhoused. There is also room for growth and involvement with this outreach to underserved communities in partnership with the medical students. The department has a highly successful required core clerkship that sends students around the state.
This represents a tremendous opportunity to balance primary care practice with involvement with our medical students!
Minimum Requirements:
Medical Doctor degree
Ideal Candidates:
Board certified or eligible in Family Medicine
Significant experience in education
Collaborative and collegial demeanor with enthusiasm for teaching
