Description: This position is responsible for ensuring that customers have a positive and memorable experience at Muse Vineyards. The candidate must have an interest in wine and be open to learning the details of the wines we produce and our general operations. Responsibilities include: Greeting customers promptly and courteously; guiding customers to wines they enjoy; setting up and cleaning up daily operations and special events; stocking wine and retail merchandise in the tasting room; accurately performing daily wine inventory and money handling procedures.

YOU MUST BE 21 or older and able to work weekends.

Customer Service/ Sales & Hospitality

• Provide guests with a special and memorable tasting experience by sharing the Muse story.
• Greet all guests in a friendly and sincere manner. Deliver exemplary customer service.
• Educate customers about the Muse brand.
• Develop ongoing relationships with guests to stimulate repeat visits and future sales.
• Promotes and sells Muse’s Wine Club and asks all customers if they would like to sign up for our newsletter.
• Represent the Muse brand with enthusiasm and loyalty.
• Accurately operate POS registers & programs.
• Basic Computer Skills

Daily Duties

• Manage, stock and maintain all wine retail products.
• Bar duties include opening wine, cleaning and buffing wine glasses.
• Maintain clean work environment, keep tasting room clean and organized.
• Answer phones when necessary and understand where to direct incoming calls.
• Follow through on all opening & closing duties.

Other

• Stay current on recent wine reviews, industry issues & trends.
• Work special events, special wine tastings, and luncheons/dinners, when necessary.
• Understand, practice, and promote responsible hospitality.'
