At the Museum of Sex, the Admin Assistant is a key link to ensure that all office and designated front of house systems are functional and ready for all other team members to operate and succeed. These tasks included scheduling team events, meetings, transferring team documents, and more.
About the work (Primary Job Responsibilities) …
Answering telephone calls and e-mails from customers and clients, directing them to the relevant team members
Monitoring office supplies and ordering new stationary, furniture, appliances, and electronics as required
Reporting Office progression to senior management and working with them to improve office operations and procedures
Sorting incoming mail and sending out letters, mailings, and UPS packages, including accepting and signing for deliveries
Support the Guest Experience department with stocking prizes
Support the Retail department with weekly cycle counts and quarterly inventory, as needed
Liaise with the Finance department on retail invoices
Scan and shred receipts and invoices
Light bookkeeping
Support the Senior leadership team on calendar management, travel, and expense reports
Perform additional duties as required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, talk, listen, and use hands to operate museum exhibits. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The work environment is an indoor, climate-controlled public area of assembly. The noise level varies throughout the venue, some areas are very quiet while others contain reasonably high noise levels. There is ample lighting throughout the venue. There are no hazards and no protective devices worn or used in the office work environment.
