• Excellent customer service skills- Considerate, kind, & compassionate.
• 1-3 years clinical experience in a medical office. Cosmetic surgery or Dermatology experience preferred.
• Able to assist with procedures, give injections, obtain referrals, provide medication administration and effective telephone triage
• Ideal candidate would have good initiative and be able to anticipate physicians needs
• Ability to multi-task and function effectively in a busy clinic environment
• Sincere interest in Cosmetic/Surgery
• Detail oriented, with excellent organizational skills necessary.
• Must be a self-starter, hardworking, dependable, and have a strong work ethic.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, co-workers, providers, & manager.
• Able to function well in a team-based environment.
• Strong computer skills necessary, with Electronic Medical Record Experience (1 year preferred). Will perform scribing for the provider in addition to completing routine patient documentation in the scope of care.
• Must have the ability to easily adjust to different job duties/position requirements. Including the ability to handle both clinical and scheduling responsibilities.
• Must be able to demonstrate experienced medical skills in a medical office setting. Knowledge of medications- able to calculate dosages and administer injections (IM, Sub-Q, ID, PO). Able to obtain vitals, patient history, assist with minor office procedures, and effective telephone triage.
• Ability to handle scheduling, precertifications/pre-authorizations, and referrals necessary.
• Must have reliable and consistent attendance; arrive on time and follow all attendance policies.
• Enjoy building long-term relationships with patients
• Education/Licensures/Certifications:
• Medical Assistant diploma OR valid LPN license
• CPR (BLS) certification

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
