JOB OVERVIEW

A skilled evening shift Maintenance Runner performs upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. Responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensuring facilities are tidy and functional.

Must be reliable with an eye for detail, a solid technical knowledge, and possess manual dexterity. Requires frequent/prolonged periods of walking, climbing, lifting, bending, kneeling, and more.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must be a self-starter, motivated, team player.
• Respond to calls from front desk via handheld radio, and complete them promptly: includes unstop drains, change light bulbs, repair broken items, paint and sheet rock repairs, and general repairs on property.
• Do a property walk inside and out looking for maintenance issues. Repair any issues found.
• Do preventative maintenance in guest rooms and on equipment.
• Empty all garbage cans inside and around property.
• Clean out ice machine bins/trays.
• Paint touches in hallways, elevators, door frames, etc.
• Clean laundry vent screen and bag.
• Replace and clean hallway AC filters.
• Other duties assigned by the supervisor or General Manager.

EDUCATION:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

EXPERIENCE:

• Maintenance experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Current drivers license (Required)
