Job Summary

Receives products, verifies and maintains accurate records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Maintains a safe and clean environment in the receiving area. Provides excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Checks received product invoices against incoming shipments to verify information. 
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and notifies manager of damages or shortages.
• Provides payment for C. O. D. products. 
• Routes items and invoices to departments.
• Uses receiving equipment to move or convey shipments from receiving platform to storage or work area.
• Categorizes invoices for accounting department.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education And Experience (E = Essential D = Desired)

• (E) High school degree or equivalent
• (E) 2 years experience in receiving operation
• (E) 2 years experience in retail
