*Overview*
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for luxury sales and customer service, with the ability to communicate effectively and drive revenue growth. Reliability and consistency are a must for this position!
*Responsibilities*
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Utilize upselling techniques to increase sales
- Operate POS system and handle transactions accurately (knowledge of Shopify is a plus)
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Help create unique window displays
- Post to social media
- Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions
- Optical specific customer service: provide custom fitting service, measure pupilary distance, etc.
- Must have a car and drivers license, as this position will be running errands from our Optometry Clinic in midtown Fayetteville back to the store on the square.
- Ability to work independently is a must.
*Experience*
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred; optical sales experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Proficiency in using a POS system
- Basic knowledge of Instagram and taking photos
- Familiarity with retail math concepts
- Demonstrated ability to sell products and meet sales targets
We are looking for 1 or 2 candidates that can work the afternoon/evening shift. Hours will be M-F 3-6 p.m. and rotating Saturdays 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 26 per week
