MV Power Solutions is hiring an Accounts Payable Manager. We Are an Electrical sub contractor looking for quality people to join our team! Ideal candidate will have 2 plus years experience with full cycle accounts payable. GENERAL SUMMARY:

• Responsible for full cycle accounts payable
• Reviewing and entering invoices for vendor payment
• Verifying sales tax for all invoices
• Matching invoices to vendor statements for accuracy
• Reconciliation of all payable accounts including credit card and vendor statements
• Investigate discrepancies on invoices and work closely with vendors for solutions
• Process check and AHC payments for vendors
• Organize and document employee reimbursements
• Digital mark up and tracking of documents
• Quantifying and payment of all sales and use tax to local jurisdictions
• Requesting and distributing certificates of insurance for individual projects
• Processing daily material orders from the field for deliveries the same or next day
• Processing of vendor lien waivers and working with accounts receivable to clear AR payments
• General administrative help as needed

Qualifications:

• 2 years construction industry experience preferred
• high school or GED equivalent
• computer skills, MS office, Outlook, Excel and work
• ability to communicate at a high level with others on the team and outside vendors
• a good attitude and willingness to be apart of the team
• ability to pass background check
